Tim Flood Sextet

This fiery, spiritual-jazz ensemble connects past, present, and future in a spirit of love and camaraderie.

Tim Flood is a bassist from Southeastern Michigan. For over 20 years, he has held down the bass chair in the Andrew Bishop Trio featuring Gerald Cleaver. In addition, he has performed with forward-thinking jazz luminaries such as Frank Lowe and Jacob Sacks.

On this very special evening, the sextet will perform the classic 1965 Archie Shepp recording "Four for Trane" in loving tribute to both Shepp and John Coltrane, and in remembrance of two musicians from the bandleaders past: Charles Moffett and Roswell Rudd.

Club Event – Make a Reservation

With the goal of providing amazing hospitality with minimal rules, the Blue LLama Jazz Club doesn't have a mandatory cover charge when featuring local and regional artists. However, our mission is to bring the best talent to our community and you will see an optional cover line on the check. While it's not required, you're welcome to add the suggested amount per person to help us continue our mission of presenting amazing music five days a week on the Blue LLama stage.
