Mercer Patterson Quintet
Mercer Patterson is a composer and pianist from New York, studying at the University of Michigan.
Playing in a number of styles, Mercer has performed at many venues in NYC, including the Jazz Gallery, Roulette, National Sawdust, and more. He has studied/worked with a number of notable musicians such as, Andy Milne, Garry Dial, Mark Kircherman, Mary Halvorson, among others.
The Mercer Patterson Quintet is a synthesis of all of his musical influences. Playing an assortment of original compositions, The Mercer Patterson Quintet continues to honor the lineage of BAM, while also bringing their own musicianship and unique sound to the table. Their debut EP Axolotl is a available on all major streaming platforms.

However, our mission is to bring the best talent to our community and you will see an optional cover line on the check. While it's not required, you're welcome to add the suggested amount per person to help us continue our mission of presenting amazing music five days a week on the Blue LLama stage.
