ME3 is a trio of improvisers based in the Detroit area. This ensemble explores compositions and soundscapes written by Marcus Elliot. ME3 draws their influences from Sonny Rollins Trio, JD Allen Trio, and James Brandon Louis Trio.

Marcus Elliot is a saxophonist, composer, improvisor, and educator based in Detroit, Michigan. His compositions and improvisations has been described by the New York Times as "convincing and confident, evolved in touch and tone...", and the Detroit Free Press has said "Marcus Elliot represents next generation of jazz". Elliot leads and coleads many different Detroit based bands including the Marcus Elliot Quartet, Clockwork, Balance, Beyond Rebellious, and Lanula. He is a Fellow of the Geri Allen Gathering Orchestra. He co-founded the nonprofit Polyfold Musical Arts Collective. Elliot is the director of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's Civic Jazz Ensembles.

E. Reid is a drummer and electronic producer from the South Side of Chicago. Freshly moved to Detroit, and in a critical stage of artistic realization, he’s humbled himself to the city in developing his means of musical service to the local jazz and electronic scenes. His wish is to help build and stimulate Detroit’s vibrantly active arts culture, and to serve individuals in the city with a sound that both empowers and inspires them to experience their best self.

Brian Juarez is a jazz bassist from Berkeley, CA. He is currently in attendance at the University of Michigan, where he studies privately with Grammy Award winning bassist, Robert Hurst III. Brian has studied with jazz luminaries such as Bennie Maupin, Marcus Belgrave, Ndugu Chancler, Benny Green, Patrice Rushen, and Rodney Whitaker, and has performed extensively throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and the Metro Detroit Area. He aspires to someday provide disadvantaged youth with the means of attaining a quality music education
