“Metropolis” is a silent, German, science fiction film originally released in 1925. The Detroit Office of Civil Defense, led by bassist Pat Prouty and drummer Julian Van Slyke, will perform live to this classic film creating an improvised score in real time in front of the audience. The film will be divided into three sections to create three sets of music in a jazz club setting.
